This association started in 1991 with 23 Local Organisms as members. Its creation was imposed by the needs for management of the communal problems and for the development of the area. It was the first time that an independent carrier with the participation of both the Local Administration and the citizens, interfered with the development of the West Achaia.

The application of the Communal Initiative Leader and the participation of the above association were the ways of promotion of the area. It's a participation, which respects the environment and the culture. It has managed to connect the goals of the citizens for the collective confrontation of the problems.

In nowadays it's an important factor of the social powers of West Achaia. The acceptance from the citizens confirms its abolishing role and its abilities. Finally, its capital is in Dymi.
