In December of 2001 the Municipality of Dymi organized seminars for the executives of the Local Organization. This seminar had the following goal: to encourage the carriers of Local Authority to play a part in the approach of the people of the European Union and the support of the European conscience. This project was submitted as a proposal for the European programme "fraternization of cities" in the European Union, which was subsidized from. The seminar included:
suggestions from experts in Local Administration in relation to the E.U. transport of experience from responsible people use of new technologies (video, slight, CD-ROM) organization of 3 workshops - project in small groups - study of situation, giving to the participant the potential for the development of his theoretical knowledge and his abilities creatively in a record level
For the fulfillment of the programme the Professional Preparation Centre "DAFNI" took part (www.kekdafni.gr) just like the ERGONET company (www.ergonet.gr).
The municipality of DYMI takes already part in the European Programme "Socrates" and in the subprogramme Grundtvig 2 entitled: "THE WOMEN'S ASSOCIATIONS FOR THE PROMOTION OF THE TRADITIONAL PRODUCTS AS CARRIERS OF THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE EUROPEAN CO-OPERATION" while it has already sent in the application for the renewal of the Gruntvig 3 subprogramme.
