There are enough orthodox churches which are monuments for all our county: the Holy church "Metamorphosis of Saviour" in Agiovlasitika, the "Assumption of Virgin" in Ano Achaia, the St. Nikolaos and St. John in Eleochori, the St. George and St. Loukas in Alissos, the St. Nikolaos in Niforeika and the St. Dimitrios Badas in Petrochori. The last one is Byzantine of the 12th century and was renovated in 1750.

Near the church there is a cave, which according to the tradition was a secret school during the Turkish domination.
