The visit of representation from DYMI to ACHAIA
In the bounds of the "Socrates" Programme and the GRUNDTVIG 2 project, which is about women in business, a representation of Dymi visited the city Achaia in Vernole.
The target of this trip was: the women from K.Achaia to visit the women businesses in Italy and be informed about them.
Four more foundations took part in the programme:
Municipality of Vernole The developing company (A.S.S.A.) of the city Achaia in Italy The community Agros (the village of the ex-President of Cyprus Democracy, m. Glafkos Kliridis) The Institute DAFNI (as co-coordinator of the programme)
The representative of these four foundations included 16 people. The majority was women.
The Communal Authorities of Dymi were represented by the vice-Mayor m. Raftakopoulos. The co-coordinator and organizer of the programme was the special co-operator of the Mayor m. B.Kanellopoulos, while 3 women from the municipality took also part.
The experience, which all mission carried off from the Saledo area, was unique. They visited women businesses which product, alter and trade local, traditional products. They were also informed about their legal system.
