Our municipality has a Communal Library, which shares the office with the communal cultural centre "Melina Merkouri". It's a two-floor, neoclassic building, which was renovated by the European programme Leader. The Library is open everyday while in the cultural centre are often organized speeches with many experts like: litterateurs, writers, historians, and politicians, scientists who have to do with the society, politics, scientists, the environment and art.
